Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark Honored as Top Indoor Waterpark by Newsweek

Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark has been named the number two indoor waterpark in the nation by Newsweek‘s Readers’ Choice Awards.

Located in Grand Prairie, Epic Waters offers year-round family splash fun under a retractable roof. The park features 12 thrilling waterslides, including the E-Racer and the Locura, a high-intensity looping slide. Guests can also enjoy the FlowRider® surfing simulator, a 4,000-square-foot arcade, a children’s interactive  play area, private cabanas, a cafe, an outdoor wavepool, and the longest indoor lazy river in North Texas.

This accolade adds to Epic Waters’ history of recognition, including “Wave Review” Awards from the World Waterpark Association in 2024, as well as recognition as a “10Best” top waterpark in the nation by USA Today Reader’s Choice Awards in 2023 and 2024.

The Newsweek Readers’ Choice Awards nominees are editorially driven with contributions from a panel of travel experts, many of whom are featured contributors to regional and national news outlets. The final list was determined by Newsweek editors. Readers were able to vote once per category, per day.

“We are delighted to receive confirmation that Epic Waters continues to be recognized in delivering a world-class, EPIC experience for North Texas families and visitors,” said Richard Coleman, CEO of American Resort Management, the waterpark’s operator.

As spring approaches, Epic Waters is preparing to announce an exciting lineup of Spring Break activities and entertainment. Guests are encouraged to stay tuned to the waterpark’s socials for updates.
