Does Epic Waters provide towels to guests?2020-02-27T18:50:50-06:00

No, customers may bring their own towels, however for guests who choose, we do offer them for purchase in our gift shop.

Can I use FREE Admission Tickets any time?2024-01-18T09:06:52-06:00

No, Free Admission tickets are NOT accepted during the month of March, Saturdays, Holidays, or any blackout dates specified by Epic Waters.
Children 3 years and younger are always free.

Do I receive a discount if I am a Grand Prairie resident?2024-01-18T09:09:23-06:00

Yes!  Because we are a city-owned property, Grand Prairie residents receive discounted admission.  Proof of valid Grand Prairie residency must be provided upon purchase and/or use of passes or IDs will be checked when presenting pre-purchased tickets.

Yes!  All bags, wallets, and purses will checked at our bag check area when entering the waterpark.

Please ensure all prohibited are removed or returned to your vehicle before entering the waterpark.

Would I be able to drop off my child that is under 16 years old?2024-08-09T14:04:13-05:00
  • Children 16 and under may not be at the park without responsible adult supervision.
    • Responsible Adult must have a valid ID
    • Responsible Adult must be present at all times
    • We retain the right to check IDS
    • No dropoffs allowed for anyone 16 years or younger
    • Each responsible adult may accompany up to 6 guests
  • It is required that minors be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
  • The park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.
  • Children and the behavior of all minors are the sole responsibility of their parent(s), guardian(s), or responsible adult in which the parents/guardians/ responsible adult may be held legally liable for all acts of the children under their care.
  • Minors in violation of the General Park Policies may be ejected, detained or have their pass revoked without refund.
  • If a parent, guardian, or responsible adult is trying to locate an unaccompanied minor in the park, please alert a team member. Epic Waters does not assume responsibility for minors not answering calls.
  • Epic Waters does not utilize a public paging system. Please pre-arrange a set meeting place and time with those members of your group should you become separated or lost.

Epic Waves, our outdoor Wave Pool is open daily from 11am to 7pm from May until Labor Day, as weather permits.

What is your policy on firearms and weapons?2020-02-27T19:07:43-06:00

We promote a safe and family friendly atmosphere. All guests are prohibited from bringing in any weapons of any kind onto the premises. Epic Waters does not check weapons at Guest Services, and does not provide weapon lockers. We ask off-duty law enforcement to identify themselves upon entry if they plan on bringing in concealed weapons.

Weapons include, but are not limited to: firearms, knives, explosives, handcuffs, batons, pepper spray, brass knuckles, throwing stars, and any other instrument that can be used to cause bodily harm.

Guests found in possession of any weapon will be asked to remove the item from the premises immediately. Those that do not comply may be ejected from the waterpark.

Epic Waters provides family-friendly music and a variety of genres. Outside speakers and music of any kind are not permitted at Epic Waters.

Can I bring my water toys and floats?2021-07-18T17:07:51-05:00

At Epic Waters we do not permit the use of outside flotation devices, noodles, toys, or boards as they can interfere with normal operation and/or another guest’s experience in the waterpark. You may bring in a Coast Guard approved lifejacket for your child. We have approved lifejackets available to use during your visit or to purchase in our retail shop.

Can I bring my face mask goggles, snorkel and/or fins to Epic Waters?2024-05-22T10:53:29-05:00

Although we have expansive swimming areas, snorkels, and fins are not allowed at Epic Waters due to the proximity to other guests.  Googles are allowed, as well as available for purchase, but glass goggles are not permitted.

Do you have a swim diaper policy?2020-02-27T19:04:20-06:00

All diaper aged children must wear approved swim diapers while inside the pool area without exception. Swim diapers are available at our Gift Shop for a nominal fee. All children must have their diapers changed inside our restrooms and not on the pool deck.

Do I need to purchase a pass for my infant?2020-02-27T19:03:46-06:00

Children ages 3 and under are free at Epic Waters and can enter the waterpark with the purchase of an adult wristband.

Do I need to purchase a wristband if I am not planning on getting into the water?2020-03-28T00:52:04-05:00

Yes, all guests of Epic Waters must have on a wristband to enter the waterpark.

If I got separated from my party where do I go?2020-02-27T19:02:50-06:00

If you get separated from your party, go to any Epic Waters employee for immediate assistance. We take separated parties very seriously and can assist with the use of two-way radios in reuniting parties. The PA system will only be used in the case of emergency.

Are there any restrictions for those with prosthetic devices?2020-02-27T19:00:27-06:00

Guests with prosthetic devices are permitted on all attractions as long as they can assume proper riding positions without issue, such as crossing their legs and arms for body slides and sitting properly in inner tubes for our inner tube slides.

Are there any height or weight requirements at the waterpark?2023-02-27T16:41:36-06:00

All of our attractions have different height requirements that are detailed below:

  • Locura: 48 inches and must weigh between 99-300 lbs.
  • Prairie Plunge: 48 inches and a maximum weight of 300 lbs.
  • Yellowjacket Drop: 48 inches
  • Texas Twist: 48 inches
  • E-Racers: 42 inches
  • Aquanaut: 48 inches
  • FlowRider: 48 inches to stand up Flowboard and 42 inches to lay down bodyboard
  • Rascal’s Round-Up: Intended for guests under 42 inches five years old and under
Where do I go if I lose something in the waterpark?2020-02-27T18:58:02-06:00

We periodically search our attractions for lost items throughout the operating day. All found items are taken to the Admissions Desk and cataloged. If a guest loses an item a Lost and Found Report should be completed. Epic Waters will do everything possible to reunite lost items to the rightful owner.

Are coolers or outside food and drinks allowed in the waterpark?2024-06-29T10:11:34-05:00

Epic Waters does not allow outside food, drinks or coolers into the waterpark this includes cake or cupcakes of any kind without the purchase of a cabana. Dietary restrictions, food allergies and baby formula are exceptions to this rule but must be identified and labeled with the date of entry once a guest arrives by an employee at our admissions desk. No glass of any kind is permitted in the waterpark which includes baby formula and baby food. The only exception to this rule is, sealed water bottles.

Is there a place to store my belongings inside the waterpark?2020-02-27T18:55:18-06:00

Various sized and priced electronic lockers are available near our restrooms. Guests not using lockers are advised that Epic Waters is not responsible for lost or stolen items. This includes items left on the pool deck, locker rooms and/or chairs.

Is there smoking allowed in the waterpark?2020-02-27T18:54:42-06:00

Epic Waters is a non-smoking facility, prohibiting the use of tobacco products (including, but not limited to, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, pipes, cigars, snuff, or chewing tobacco) within the waterpark.

If guests want to leave the waterpark property to smoke, they will be re-admitted into the waterpark if they are wearing a wristband purchased that day.

Does Epic Waters offer rain checks?2020-02-27T18:53:36-06:00

Only the slide tower will close for lightning within 5 miles of the waterpark, yet this is temporary until the weather passes. All other attractions remain open such as retail, arcade and food areas. Thus, refunds or rain checks are not offered.

What happens if it rains?2024-07-08T11:30:37-05:00

The luxury of a retractable roof is that when it rains, the roof can close. If lightning is within 15 miles of the waterpark, the slide tower and the outside wavepool will close and be evacuated while all other attractions will remain open. Retail, arcade, and food & beverage outlets will also remain open for our guests to enjoy.

Can I buy tickets for my party even though they are not here yet?2020-02-27T18:52:30-06:00

Unfortunately, due to capacity, each guest in your party must be present to purchase tickets and be banded by Epic Waters Staff. No tickets will be held for guests arriving later in the day.

Epic Waters accepts all major credit cards and cash. Please note, a valid photo ID is required when using credit or debit cards. For your convenience, an ATM is available for use.
