Epic Waters hosted the first annual EPIC plunge which gave individuals the opportunity to sign up and be apart of one of the most unique fundraisers in Texas! $50 entry fee included participation in the EPIC Plunge, souvenir t-shirt, hot cocoa and full day swimming admission to Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark.
Over 80 individuals signed up and donated for this cause that is not only near and dear to the Epic Waters team but the City of Grand Prairie.
PlayGrand Adventures is a playground that encompasses 10 acres of park land, separated into distinct play areas or “Zone”. Each “Zone” contains unique play equipment, specifically designed for inclusive play. This is not just a children’s playground but one designed for all ages and abilities, that incorporate various challenges to encourage teamwork, cooperation, achievement. The playground is contained with a perimeter border for safety.
The playground is part of a much larger overall park project which will include The Epic, a state-of-the-art recreation center, Epic Waters indoor/outdoor water park, trail systems, and amphitheater at Grand Central in Grand Prairie, Texas.
This project is being led by a committee of dedicated individuals from the community, local and national organizations, and the City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation Department.
PlayGrand Adventures plans to open this Fall 2019! Families just like the Hobdy are looking forward to their family not just getting to swim together but play in a park side by side together.
