About Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark
Currently under construction and set to open in November 2017, Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark is an 80,000 square-foot indoor/outdoor retractable-roof waterpark that’s open year-round. Billed as a “cruise ship on land,” the park features attractions for every member of the family, including waterslide and rides (some of which are “first in the industry”), an outdoor wave pool, a lazy river, a full-service grill/bar, private party areas, meeting space and more.
The waterpark is a joint public-private project with the City of Grand Prairie as part of the $75-million recreation and lifestyle development known as The Epic, currently completing construction and set to open this summer. In addition to serving as the home for Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark, The Epic will feature an amphitheater, fitness facilities, extensive walking trails, a library, a grand lawn and a state-of-the art, all-accessible interactive playground (PlayGrand Adventures).
Both The Epic and Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark are located at Grand Central, a 120-acre outdoor recreation development that is also home to The Summit, a state-of-the-industry fitness and wellness facility for older adults.
